First Place: #19 Sandra & Maya by Nick Saglimbeni
Soft & sexy, great composition, a perfect image
|
| | |
| |
Second Place: #41 Behind the Curtain by Jason Keeven
Great composition and lighting, a slight edge or hair light might have provided a bit more separation for her hair against the background, but that is a minor point. This is a great image.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS ON IMAGES
FROM GIACOMO PHOTOGRAPHY
#29 - I really like this image, but I feel it would have had a much more powerful impact if soft focus was used instead of a blur, which makes it feel out of focus.
#46 - The digital imagery is nice as well as the color treatment, but the model is just too small in the frame to make the right kind of impact.
#4 - Overall, very nice.
#7 - Model needs to be more dominant in the frame, we don't care about the sky.
#8 - Nice story, great use of available light. And to frame the shot using a self-timer on a tripod deserves extra credit...
#10 - Would like the exposure on the face to have been balanced better with the body.
#12 - Cute picture and pose, but seems slightly out of focus
#16 - Nice use of monochromatic effect; having the model look off camera can be very dramatic, but in this case, it looks as if she is staring at something else, which reduces the impact.
#17 - Nice use of natural light
#27 - Nice composition
#35 - Sure, I'll be yours...
#47 - Great composition and color treatment; just a tad overexposed. I also would have preferred a sharper focus on the eyes. Otherwise, this would be on its way to National Geographic.
